Cowboy's Mustang
Original Framed Horse Painting
There’s something tender and playful about this little horse — head bowed, hat floating above, caught in a quiet moment of western daydreaming.
I painted this petite original in soft turquoise, pink, plum, and warm golden tones, giving it a nostalgic, almost storybook feeling. It feels whimsical without being too sweet — a small piece with a lot of heart.
Painted with gouache, an artist paint known for its rich, velvety color, then finished with encaustic wax — a warm wax surface that adds depth, protection, and a beautiful handmade feel.
Framed in an ornate gold wood frame and wired on the back, ready to hang or display on a shelf.
