Walk About - a quiet moment in the wide-open desert.
Original Acrylic Painting on Linen | 9 × 12
Two horses wander together across a vibrant Southwestern landscape in Walk About, an original acrylic painting filled with brilliant yellow, dusty pink, coral, sage, lavender and blue.
Distant mountains stretch beneath a soft pastel sky while cactus, agave and desert vegetation emerge through loose, expressive layers of paint. The two horses bring a quiet sense of movement and companionship to the wide-open landscape—and perhaps they’re taking the long way around.
A colorful, contemporary interpretation of the American Southwest, painted with an emphasis on expressive marks, unexpected color and the beauty of an expansive landscape.
