Rain Across the Plateau
Original Acrylic Painting | 16 × 20 Inches
A solitary bison stands within a vast, rain-washed landscape in Rain Across the Plateau. Layers of muted blue, sage, lavender and yellow-green create an atmospheric open range, while warm earthen rocks and the rich brown bison bring contrast and quiet warmth.
Loose, expressive brushwork moves through the grasses and distant hills, capturing the feeling of rain passing across the plateau. Both peaceful and slightly mysterious, this contemporary Western landscape celebrates the stillness and beauty of the untamed American landscape.
