A great blue heron stands quietly among soft marsh grasses beneath a sky washed with lavender, blue, and rose. Loose brushwork and layered color capture the quiet beauty and presence of this familiar wetland bird.
I wanted to offer something more than a paper print, so each piece is individually mounted, hand-finished with cold wax, framed, and signed on back. The result is a reproduction that carries a little of the character and presence of the original painting.
