More than a traditional paper print, each piece is individually handcrafted in my Minnesota studio. Egret Path is reproduced from my original painting on museum-quality 100% cotton fine art paper, carefully mounted by hand to a rigid wood panel, and finished with a hand-rubbed layer of cold wax.
The cold wax creates a rich, velvety surface with a soft satin sheen, enhancing the color and painterly quality of the artwork while also providing a protective finish. Because no glass is needed, the artwork can be enjoyed without reflections and has the presence and character of an original painting.
Each piece is finished in a warm gold solid wood frame, wired and ready to hang.
